Homeschool Horse Club
King's Stables is excited to continue Homeschool Horse Club this Fall! This club was created to fill a need in the community for educational and fun horse lessons that are affordable. Please be aware that this is not a competitive or advanced riding team, but an opportunity for homeschoolers to get together with other horse lovers. Participants will receive one ground lesson and one group riding lesson each visit.
No experience necessary!
Examples of topics covered during lessons:
Tacking and caring for tack
Breeds and colors of horses
What is new this year?
We have changed the way the lessons are divided due to some students advancing and their skill levels not matching with other participants. We would also like to keep age groups similar.
When registering, first choose skill level:
- lessons are divided into those students who have learned how to trot and those who haven't.
- Colt Starters- first time in the club or have not started working on posting trot yet.
- Wranglers - Have started working on posting trot.
Next, Choose age level.
- Tuesdays will be for 10 and under
- Thursdays for 11 and up.
We are very excited about offering two educational field trips this semester!! Please see schedule for dates!
Schedule & Cost
Lessons for each group will be held on rotating Tuesdays/Thursday from 11-12:30. (Colt starters meet one week, Wranglers the next).
Cost will be $25 every class for the semester.
*Please Check Dates carefully*
For example, if your child is 8 and a first time student - Choose Colt Starters on Tuesdays.
**One waiver per participant**
**Please Fill out Liability Waiver Annually**
